Family run holiday apartment in a rural hamlet within the Lake District National Park. Clean, quality, self-catering holiday accommodation in the rural hamlet of Redmain, two miles from Cockermouth, Cumbria.
The Hayloft is converted from a 17thC stone barn and has lofted ceilings and exposed stone walls. It is exceptionally clean and warm and bed linen is 100% cotton with duvets. The Hayloft has a king-size bed and all expected modern kitchen appliances.
The Hayloft is equipped with fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, colour TV, Freeview, DVD/CD player, radio, electric and heating included, linen, blankets, duvets, towels and power shower over the bath. Sleeps two people plus baby. There is a high chair and travel cot available.
Please note that 5 and 6 night short breaks are priced the same as a week so please book a complete week.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required when booking. The outstanding balance to be paid four weeks prior to arrival. A receipt will be sent confirming your booking.
There is a garden area for you to enjoy, including garden furniture, picnic table and barbecue.
Broadband 24/7 internet access cable (Cat 5 Network) and Wifi wireless access point for connection to your own computer equipment is available free.
The apartment is for non-smokers only and we do not accept pets.Please note that whilst the accommodation is on one level, it is accessed via stairs, as it originally formed the hayloft of the property, as the name suggests.
Close by are some of the Western lakes most imposing fells Skiddaw, Grassmoor, Red Pike, Highstyle and Grisedale Pike. The Western lakes include Bassenthwaite Lake with Sailing Club and Osprey view point, Loweswater for rowing and walking.
Derwentwater for kayaking and boat rides and island hopping, Buttermere for walking and sheer beauty, Crummock Water. |

Situated just outside of the Lake District, to the north west, Cockermouth is a market town in Cumbria, England, which is popular with visitors to the region. Nearby towns and villages include Arkleby, High Lorton, Lamplugh, Aspatria, Goodyhills, and Allonby. Cockermouth is one of over a hundred towns and villages in Cumbria in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main cities are Carlisle (population 71,773), Lancaster (population 45,952), and Liverpool (which has a population of 469,017 according to the 2001 Census).
A visit here is well worth considering!
